The Cotswolds region
The Cotswolds area is one of England's favourite destinations; famous for hundreds of honey-colour limestone villages in a beautiful rural setting. With no theme parks or long queues for 'rides', the Cotswolds is a restful sort of place where time slips away happily and a Blackberry is something that you make jam with.
But don't think there's nothing to do. A typical day in the Cotswolds will see visitors enjoying everything from Archery to Zorbing
Leighterton boasts a recently refurbished pub serving high quality traditional English fayre and real ales as well as a fabulous a la carte menu. Many walks can be enjoyed from the village with the Monarchs Way passing the doorstep of Church View. The village also has a park and a duck pond, with resident goose, to keep smaller guests amused.

Tetbury (4 Miles) Situated in the 'Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty', the Tetbury of today is one of the most beautiful Cotswold towns with its elegant buildings creating a real sense of timeless beauty, - a delight for those who visit this jewel of the Cotswolds. It is a thriving market town built around its outstanding 17th century Market Hall. As well as offering a unique retail experience with many individually owned shops, it is also a major centre for antiques.
Highgrove (3 Miles)- Home to the Prince of Wales and also Duchy Home Farm where organic fruit and vegetables can be purchased. Highgrove gift shop can be found in Tetbury town centre.
Westonbirt Arboretum (2 Miles) - One of the most spectacular tree gardens in the world and venue for many open air summer concerts. www.forestry.gov.uk/westonbirt
Bath (20 miles) Famous Roman city with great shopping and restaurants as well as the renowned Bath House Spa.
Cheltenham (30 Miles) - Great for shopping and the venue for the Cheltenham Gold cup races held in March.
Badminton Horse trials (3 miles) Held in May these are one of the toughest and most exciting equestrian events - the pinnacle of the world's 3-Day-Event calendar. A great day out even for non horse lovers! www.badminton-horse.co.uk
Slimbridge Wetlands Centre (13 miles), home to an astounding array of wildlife including the world's largest collection of swans, geese, and ducks. www.wwt.org.uk
